Drew has been fantastic. He has been working with our son since he started high school. He is patient and engaging, and with his help our son was able to progress through advanced math courses and prepare for the SAT with confidence. His understanding and skills continue to noticeably improve. Definitely recommend!

Mr. Laiche is an incredible math tutor. He's not only helped our son with pre-calculus, but now our daughter with geometry. He's patient, approachable and takes the time to explain concepts in a way that is easier to absorb than in the classroom with multiple students and limited time. We highly recommend.

Drew Laiche is an amazing teacher! He worked with my 14 year old son this summer to prep for high school math -- algebra and geometry.
Drew's style is easy going and he makes the lessons interesting so the concepts stick. He is patient and works with the student to make sure everything is clear before moving on to the next subject. It's the perfect amount of instruction for the child and I wish that we had found him sooner! I wholeheartedly recommend his services.

Drew is fantastic! We worked with him for the first time thru all of distance learning and will continue with him once the girls are back in school as well. He’s very patient and communicative. Our oldest daughter chose to switch to compact math because she “felt more confident” since starting math tutoring with Drew, and our youngest “doesn’t hate math anymore” :) We highly recommend Drew - in fact our 2 closest family friends use him too.

Drew is an amazing tutor, our son Ali has been struggling with Math ever since elementary school, we had worked with another tutor but not much changed with his challenges. I found Drew online, he sounded very professional and that was already confirmed when he showed up for the first session. We started seeing improvement in Ali after a month already, he started building confidence in math and was able to make connections which he was unable before. My daughter had been doing Kumon for a few years and was finding it hard to stay motivated. We decided to try a tutor and found Mr. Drew Laiche, of Portland Math Tutor. Wow! What a great change in her attitude and interest in math. I'm 100% confident she will be set for the challenges of high school math and physics. Great teacher and great business. After calling around a few places for a math tutor, Drew at Portland Math Tutoring was quick to respond with availability, prices & a thorough explanation as to what math tutoring will accomplish . With online schooling due to the pandemic, math started to be a struggle for our new middle-schooler. As parents, we had tried teaching to him ourselves, but essentially could not explain or even begin to understand the new Common Core math to help our son understand. After the first online session with Drew, our son felt very comfortable, because Drew was able to explain and connect with him about math. It's been a few months & our son is feeling confident in math & looks forward to his online sessions. Drew is a professional with clear communication & I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a math tutor.
